Once a patient has booked, they are your patient and they are free to book any follow-up appointments with you directly.
Add a backlink to MediMo on your website and this drops to 30%.
New Insured Patient
For insured patients booking with your clinic through MediMo:
We know clinics typically earn less from insured appointments, so we keep it simple with a low flat fee instead of a percentage.
Insured patients enter their policy number and pre-authorisation details at checkout — these are automatically added to the appointment notes in your diary.
Returning Patients
For patients returning to your clinic, whether self-pay or insured:
A returning patient is defined as either:
- A pre-existing patient of yours, whose details are already in your booking system.
- A patient who booked their first ever appointment with you through MediMo and is now booking a follow-up appointment.

Add a small backlink to MediMo from your clinic's website and our commission on new patient bookings drops from 40% to 30%. That's a 25% discount on the fees charged, automatically applied to every new patient booking.
How it works
- Log in to your MediMo dashboard and grab the code snippet from the backlink section.
- Add the text link or badge to your website — the bottom of your home page, about page or a blog page.
- We verify the link and our reduced 30% rate kicks in automatically for all new patient bookings while the link remains active.
Example: On a £60 initial appointment, you'd pay £18 instead of £24 — saving you £6 per new patient. Over 10 new patients, that's £60 back in your pocket.
Referral Programme
Know another practice that could benefit from MediMo? Refer them and you'll receive £100 in booking credit once they've been live on the platform for 30 days.
How it works
- Share your unique referral link with another practice — find it in your MediMo dashboard.
- They sign up and go live on MediMo. After 30 days, your £100 credit is applied to your account.
- Your credit offsets future MediMo commissions — you keep 100% of your booking value until the credit runs out.
Example: Refer 3 practices and earn £300 in credit. At the standard 40% rate on a £60 appointment, that covers your next 12 new patient introductions at zero cost to you.
